The truth... It is as abundant as God himself. Yet, in this age we live in today, the truth is like a rare gem. It's an age where "sounding good", rather than the actual truth, seems to be the normal way of life. Far too often, it's the way businesses, organizations, and individuals manipulate others to get what they want. As long as it "sounds good", what's actually done doesn't matter... However, if there is any doubt in your mind about how important the truth is to God, just read the Bible.God is described to us as the Truth. The devil is described to us as just the opposite. He is described as deceiver and liar - the father of all lies. Choose your father and where you want to spend eternity when judgment day comes. Either choose a cowardly life of trying to run and hide from the truth, or choose a brave and bold life, living in the light and the truth.

If it is a lie of any kind, the devil is the father of it, and most likely the father of the person telling the lie:

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. -John 8:44

ALL liars and cowards are going to burn in hell:

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. -Rev 21:8

Jesus is the Truth:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. -John 14:6

The truth will make you free:

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. -John 8:32

Until next time,
David
